Role Overview

Title:

Area Leader / Section Team Leader - Please be awaare this is 'hands on' role and will require working along with team members on top of leadership tasks.

Reports to:

Production Coordinator

Salary:

Up to 35000 per annum (DOE)

Shift Pattern:

Sunday-Thursday

Hours:

Primary: 07:00-16:00 / Secondarily : 05:30- 14:30.

Key Accountabilities

Your role will be to lead and coordinate daily manufacturing and warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently met.

To be heavily involved in day to day operations including' hands on' approach , working along the team including all aspects of manual work on top of the Leadership aspects of the role

Foster a safety-first culture for all staff, including agency workers. Respond promptly to incidents or near-misses, taking corrective action and implementing preventative measures.

P - People

Build, train, and develop a skilled, motivated, and adaptable team. Lead initiatives to improve individual and team performance, ensuring a strong succession pipeline.

Q - Quality

Ensure all products meet food safety, legal, and quality standards. Minimise deviations by applying proactive quality control and working cross-functionally to improve processes.

D - Delivery

Achieve production targets and service level requirements through effective planning and execution. Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reliability.

C - Cost

Optimise resources, labour, and yields to meet cost-efficiency goals. Promote continuous improvement to reduce costs without compromising quality or service.

What We're Looking For

Required:

2+ years' experience in a leadership role managing small teams. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage, motivate, and lead. Proven ability to manage operational priorities in a fast-paced environment Hands on Approach and being involeved in manual aspects of the role .

Preferred:

FMCG food industry experience. Background in warehouse and/or manufacturing operations.
