Role Purpose

JLL is currently searching for a confident and ambitious Security and Resilience Advisor. The successful candidate must ensure that critical stakeholders, including employees and client teams, receive timely, relevant information and appropriate advice on HSSE matters. The role holder must have an acute eye for HSSE risks and be able to foster a strong culture of health, safety & environmental management.

Birmingham

Norwich

Bristol

Manchester

London



This role offers flexibility across these key UK locations to support our regional operations and client base.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Management & Safety Oversight

Provide guidance and advice on health, safety, and security risk management within the organisation.

Help investigate major incidents, ensuring comprehensive documentation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.

Coordinate comprehensive documentation and compliance processes for major retail activations and events within shopping centre environments.

Maintain current expertise in relevant health, safety, and security legislation and regulatory requirements.



Systems & Process Management

Develop and maintain a centralised risk management platform to systematically track security, health, and safety incidents, ensuring timely reporting and comprehensive action item follow-through.

Create, update, and manage documentation and standard operating procedures.

Implement and coordinate HSSE monitoring procedures to ensure timely internal performance reporting.



Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Organise and facilitate strategic meetings with service providers, clients, and internal stakeholders.

Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior management.

Represent JLL at industry conferences, forums, and professional networking events.



Training & Development

Design and deliver customised training programs tailored to various staff levels and functional requirements.



Operational Support

Provide 24/7 security coverage support through occasional weekend on-call duties.

Execute ad hoc projects and initiatives based on evolving business needs and strategic priorities.



Experience

NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety (desirable).

Understanding of health and safety, security operations and risk management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in report writing and data analysis.

Flexibility to travel nationally within the UK.

Valid UK driving licence.
