Job Description

At Protec Fire and Security Group, as part of the Bosch Group of companies, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Security Clearances Coordinator to take full ownership of managing, centralising, and maintaining all employee security clearances across the business. Situated within the HR function this role is critical to ensuring compliance with industry, legal, and client requirements in high-security environments, including police, MOD, custodial, DBS, and airport-related projects.

Typical Responsibilties




Develop and implement a

centralised database

to track and manage all security clearances across the organisation. Maintain up-to-date records of clearance statuses for all personnel, including expiry dates, application progress, and renewal schedules. Be the

single point of contact

for all clearance-related enquiries, internally and externally. Coordinate clearance applications and renewals, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to relevant authorities (e.g., DBS, MOD, Police, Airport Authorities). Liaise with project teams, and security authorities to identify and fulfil clearance requirements for new and existing personnel. Monitor changes to legislation, industry standards, and client requirements related to personnel security clearances. Provide regular reports and audit-ready documentation to management and clients when required. Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards in storing and handling clearance information. Proactively identify and address process improvements for clearance management. #
