We're Hiring: Security Compliance Officer

Location: Southampton

Pay: 14.45

Hours: Monday to Saturday 45hr contract

Knowledge of BPSS and SC clearance

Purpose of the Role

The Business Security Compliance Officer will provide

support activities across all aspects of security delivery

, offering

advice, guidance, and assistance

to ensure compliance with company policies and

National Security standards

.


You'll manage your own workload with limited supervision, escalating issues to the Deputy Security Manager or Site Security Manager when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

? Deliver site security services aligned with company and government guidance

? Communicate security requirements clearly with all personnel

? Plan and prioritize workload to meet functional and business needs

? Gather and report security-related data for informed decision-making

? Maintain security records and databases

? Handle information efficiently and sensitively

? Support investigations and manage security incidents

? Build strong relationships with key personnel internally and externally

? Respond to enquiries and complaints professionally and constructively

? Promote awareness, education, and training related to security

? Perform other duties as directed by the Deputy/Site Security Manager

Competencies

Experience as an Office Administrator or similar role Maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability Diligent and timely process execution Professional, polite, and personable demeanor Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Collaboration with business functions and staff Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Positive customer experience delivery Initiative and proactive approach to achieving results Proficient in IT skills (MS Office packages) Excellent telephone manner and ability to deal with outside agencies Ability to identify and solve routine problems

Qualifications

What we're looking for:

A valid SIA licence. Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends. The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history. Strong communication skills in English--both written and spoken.
