Dog Handlers - Wellingborough PAYE ONLY

We have an excellent opportunity for two professional

Dog Handlers

to join our team in

Wellingborough

. You'll play a key role in ensuring the security of our client's premises, while following all site rules, health and safety procedures, and maintaining compliance with British Standards specifically BS 8517.

About the Site

A 230,000 sq. ft facility offering industrial, workshop, and warehouse space, with excellent welfare facilities and a fully equipped gatehouse.

Shifts Available

Position 1

Saturday & Sunday: 06:00 - 18:00 Monday & Tuesday Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Alternate Wednesdays Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Plus overtime/holiday cover

Position 2

Thursday to Sunday Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Alternate Wednesdays Nights: 18:00 - 06:00 Plus overtime/holiday cover

Key Responsibilities

Conduct 6 random patrols per shift with your dog, scanning designated points Maintain site security and act as a physical and visual deterrent Report any health and safety or security concerns promptly Remain alert and proactive throughout the shift

What You'll Need

(all are essential)

Valid

SIA Licence

(Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection)

NASDU Level 2

(or equivalent: NTIPDU or BIPDT) A suitable vehicle for dog handling (in line with BS 8517) A suitable guarding breed dog Full 5-year work/education history with verifiable references Willingness to be

PAYE only

- no self-employed contractors Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a professional attitude Good spoken and written communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 15.75 per hour

Expected hours: 42 - 60 per week
