Following a recent change in ownership and strategic direction, we are expanding rapidly and looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join our busy and dynamic team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in security systems and technology, with a focus on the design, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring the safety of our facilities through advanced security measures.

This is a field-based, full-time position suitable for an energetic, knowledgeable, and confident engineer. You'll play a key role in delivering our high standards of service to clients across the region.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and General Manager, and will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of systems - with a particular focus on gates and barriers.

Key Responsibilities

Install and maintain security systems (CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, fire systems, etc.)

Conduct routine servicing and remedial work

Carry out site visits to ensure system compliance and quality

Deliver a high standard of health and safety on all jobs

Work independently to complete assigned tasks

Provide technical support to customers and colleagues

Communicate effectively with office and field teams

Ensure quality control on all works undertaken

What We're Looking For

? Minimum 3 years' experience in the security industry (installations, servicing, and remedials)

? CCTV / Intruder Alarm installation and maintenance experience required

? Ability to work independently across multiple systems/sectors

? Strong problem-solving and technical skills

? A positive attitude and proactive, team-oriented mindset

? Full UK driving licence

? Ability to pass Security Screening and DBS checks
