Security Engineer

About the Role

As a Security Engineer, you'll be responsible for the

installation, servicing, and fault-finding

of a wide range of systems, including:

Intruder alarms (wired & wireless) HD and IP CCTV systems Fire alarms (addressable and conventional) Access control & intercom systems Warden call/Telecare systems (desirable)
Our projects span

domestic, commercial, and public sector settings

, with clients ranging from private homeowners to national retailers and local authorities.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking candidates with experience that mirrors the following:

20+ years in the security industry

(or equivalent experience)
Background in both

installation and service

roles
Proficiency with systems like

Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, and Tynetec

Strong knowledge of

Redcare, DualCom, WebWay, Emizon

, and other communication technologies
Excellent fault-finding skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working alone or as part of a team
Willing to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and short-term stays away from home

Essential Requirements

Full clean UK driving licence CSCS card or equivalent health & safety certification City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or similar Up-to-date training in working at height, asbestos awareness, and manual handling Right to work in the UK
