At SGS Systems Ltd. we specialize in ensuring people are secure and happy. We're looking for experienced Security Engineers to join our growing engineering team, helping to keep homes and businesses safe through expertly installed and maintained alarm and CCTV systems.

As a key member of the team, you'll take ownership of installing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of security systems, ensuring every project meets the highest technical and safety standards. Working across domestic and commercial sites, you'll use your hands-on experience to deliver exceptional results, maintain reliable system performance, and represent SGS with professionalism and care. Key responsibilities



Install, maintain, and repair intruder alarm and CCTV systems to relevant standards and system specifications.

Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

Deliver installations and upgrades for both small and large projects.

Complete all work to the required technical and quality standards, following company protocols and industry regulations.

Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring excellent customer service on every job.

Manage time and priorities to complete work efficiently and to schedule.

Maintain a professional, courteous approach in all customer-facing interactions.

Support team colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering processes.

Key requirements



Experience and Skills

Essential -

Minimum3 years' hands-on experience in the alarm industry.

Essential -

Proven background in installation, service, and maintenance of alarm and CCTV systems.

Good organisation and time-management skills.

Clear, confident communication with customers and colleagues.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
