Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer to join our expanding team.
This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards industry-recognised qualifications.
As part of your training, you will assist experienced engineers in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of a wide variety of fire and security systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assist engineers with installing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control systems.
Learn to test, fault-find, and repair systems under supervision.
Gain an understanding of system drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure all work is carried out in line with British Standards, health & safety requirements, and company policies.
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Attend college or off-site training as required as part of the apprenticeship programme.
Maintain a professional attitude and excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
A keen interest in electrical, fire, or security systems.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills
