Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring premises, conducting regular patrols, and responding promptly to incidents or emergencies. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to identify suspicious activities or breaches of security. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter and detect any unauthorised access or criminal activity. Respond to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency services as required. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies while providing excellent customer service to all visitors. Assist in training new security personnel on procedures and protocols as needed.

Skills

Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance technology. Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and strategies. Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and the public. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally. Previous experience in security or a related field is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
