Job Title: Security Guard

JOB SPECIFICATION

Reports to: Operations Manager

Contract: Shifts are 10 hours, nights, working a rotation Monday to Sunday.

Based: Student accommodation sites across the United Kingdom

Salary:

12.21 per hour.

Location: Falmouth

Ensure the safety and security of student accommodation Control access to prevent unauthorised entry. Deter criminal activities Foster a peaceful and safe environment for students and staff by always being approachable, professional and friendly.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for somebody reliable, well mannered, with good communication skills and a valid SIA Front Line Security Guard Licence. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you must be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public and being on your feet all day. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to communicate fluently in English Able to identify and deter criminal activity and escalate where appropriate Have a pro-active approach to access control, activity monitoring, and maintaining a visible security presence. Ensuring fire safety & health and safety policies and regulations are adhered to. Assist residents in a polite and friendly manner if approached with queries, with redirection to the appropriate personnel for help.
