Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, ensuring the protection of both personnel and property. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention, effective surveillance skills, and the ability to respond promptly to emergencies.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Conduct regular inspections of the premises, including access points, to ensure security protocols are followed. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to monitor activities within the facility. Respond swiftly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary. Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required and assist in investigations as needed. Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or loss prevention is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous; certification is a plus. Familiarity with surveillance systems, particularly CCTV, is highly desirable. Strong observational skills with attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with staff and visitors. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the role.
