Job Overview

We are seeking vigilant and dedicated Security Guards to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance of the premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, conducting thorough investigations as necessary. Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures.

Skills

Proficient in the use of CCTV systems and surveillance technology. Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential security threats. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and visitors. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is advantageous. A strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism in all interactions.

Pay: 13.25-26.50 per hour
