We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to loss prevention.
Duties
Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activities and reporting them.
Provide first aid assistance in emergencies until professional help arrives.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.
Qualifications
Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred but not essential.
Strong surveillance skills with the ability to operate CCTV equipment effectively.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
First aid certification is desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
A keen eye for detail and strong observational skills.
Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
