Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Security Installation Technician to join our growing team. The role involves working within the BeSure Fire & Security team, carrying out a multitude of technical tasks in accordance with NSI Gold, and Company guidelines. We have great opportunities to help install and maintain work for our existing and new client base, these opportunities are in the domestic and commercial sectors, offering a wide range of fire services. This is a team-based role, but the ability to work confidently and effectively on your own initiative will be paramount. You must be well presented, a quick learner, and able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities & Duties
Carry out Installation, servicing and fault finding/rectification across all disciplines of Security, CCTV and Access Control to the relevant industry standards (NSI).
Compile comprehensive reports from all site visits.
Carry out standby duties as a part of a team rota.
Duties can change from time to time subject to client's requirements and change to the marketplace.

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm with a 30minute unpaid break for lunch
Standby Duties:
Paid retainer plus paid call outs. 4 days on, rotated amongst all technicians.
Salary:
38,000 - 40,000 per annum (depending on skills and experience)
Signing on bonus:
1,000 joining bonus (Subject to qualifying terms).
You will be provided with the following:
22 days paid holiday plus all UK statutory Bank Holidays (increases with time served)
Enrolled into company pension scheme after 3 months (opt out if you choose)
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years' experience within the security industry and should:
Have experience in industrial, commercial and domestic settings, working on systems of varying sizes, including small works & maintenance.
Be able to identify and rectify faults effectively and efficiently.
Ability to service systems on all areas of the security CCTV and Access Control, to the relevant industry standards (NSI).
Have knowledge base of multiple manufacturers equipment and experience working with the following systems:
? Paxton
? Scantronic
? Texecom
? Galaxy
? Nurse Call Systems (Inter Call)
Fluent in the English language, both spoken and written, as well as being literate and numerate.
Excellent customer service skills.
Have the ability to correspond clearly, concisely, and politely with your work colleagues and customers whether by telephone or written communication.
Have basic IT skills using MS Word, MS Outlook etc.
Have the skills to be multi-faceted and the ability to carry out numerous duties across various departments.

Essential Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence
To be familiar with the companies' policies, procedures and guidelines which are set out in the Employee Handbook. Particularly, those associated with Health and Safety.
To undertake training and development essential for the role.
To complete a 6-month probationary period and participate in annual appraisals with your line manager to monitor performance and set objectives.
To undertake any other reasonable duty, at the same level of responsibility, that has been requested by senior staff.
