Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, ensuring that all security protocols are adhered to at all times.

Duties

Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate and maintain CCTV systems to ensure effective surveillance coverage. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action. Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring that all security measures are in place and functioning correctly. Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on site. Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as needed. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes. Must be able to travel to provide security for movie / tv sets

Skills

Proficient in surveillance techniques, with a strong understanding of loss prevention strategies. Experience operating CCTV systems effectively for monitoring purposes. Certification in first aid is highly desirable, with the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations. Strong observational skills with attention to detail, enabling the identification of potential security threats. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear reporting and interaction with team members and the public. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
