We have a vacancy for a Security Officer at a fantastic site in Milton Keynes - the home of a well-known and exciting Formula 1 racing car technology company.



You will be supporting the site where this Formula 1 company develops technical and commercial solutions for leading-edge clients across a wide range of industries. As a Security Officer based at our site in Milton Keynes, you will be working in a corporate environment. Reception duties are required so communication & IT skills must be above average. Some duties will include alarm response, incident reporting, patrolling, gate lock/unlocks, securing buildings, carrying out tasks for the client. You will also be required to occasionally cover shifts at the other client site located in Bedford.

About the Role:

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:


Welcoming staff and visitors and creating a safe, professional atmosphere Conducting regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent unauthorised access, theft, or vandalism. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, taking appropriate action as needed. Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns. Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required. Adapting to different client sites - no two days are the same Responding calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns Working as part of a diverse, supportive team

What we are looking for:

To hold a current SIA Licence Proven experience in a security role or a similar position. Strong observational skills with the ability to identify and respond to security threats. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors, and authorities. Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
