professional and motivated Security Officers
to join our team at theEdinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC)
.This is a
casual contract
with regular opportunities forovertime

.Vigilant Security delivers a wide range of services including manned guarding, mobile patrols, and keyholding.
The Role
As a Security Officer, you will provide a visible, responsive, and professional security presence at a prestigious venue in the heart of Edinburgh. Your duties will vary depending on the event and may include:
Front-of-house and reception duties Access control and visitor management Signing contractors and vendors in and out General monitoring of the premises and event spaces
You'll be working across a diverse calendar of events - from evening banquets to high-profile daytime conferences - with
flexible shifts

Candidate Requirements:
We're looking for individuals who are:
Professional, reliable, and self-motivated Smartly presented and confident Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused Excellent communicators - both written and verbal Highly observant, with strong attention to detail Able to work well independently and as part of a team Comfortable using computers and digital systems
Essential:
Valid
SIA Licence
Ability to providefive years of checkable work or education history
Desirable:
Full UK driving licence
