:Job PurposeWe are seeking a highly experienced Reception/Patrol Security Officer who has an extensive knowledge in customer service, Security and can provide our 6-Star front of house service delivery.This is a fulltime role, working 4 on 4 off days and nights (0700-1900hrs, 1900-0700hrs), averaging 42 hours per week.The payrate for this role is xc2xa314.27 per hour and you will be entitled to 19.6 days holiday per annum.At Vigilant we pride ourselves in offering an exemplary welcome to our clients, combining the three key disciplines of reception, concierge and security.Key Responsibilitiesxc2xb7 Deliver a 6xe2x80x93star guest experience at all timesxc2xb7 Ensure all visitors experience the full customer journeyxc2xb7 Proactive Lobby hosting and lift escort management as per site SOPxe2x80x99sxc2xb7 Sensitive customer interaction while maintaining a cohesive acknowledgement of all guestsxc2xb7 Be proactive and anticipate any action client or customer requirements in a professional mannerxc2xb7 Issue visitor passes using agreed sign in and out policies and proceduresxc2xb7 Communicate where required visitor or client arrivals with a high level of discretionxc2xb7 Provide a high level of concierge services and have a wide knowledge of provisions within local and surrounding areasxc2xb7 Ensure all landlord contractor access is pre-authorised and in accordance with risk assessment/permit to work conditions, and directing contractors to the correct entrancexc2xb7 Handle mail and courier enquiries with discretion and sensitivity, by directing them to the loading bay entrancexc2xb7 Provide administrative support/incident report writingxc2xb7 Ability and fore sight to create a safe environment for all guests and visitorsxc2xb7 Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shiftxc2xb7 Maintain a high level of security awareness at all times for visitors and guests, creating a safe and secure environment, including but not limited to monitoring the speed lanes and ensuring that all persons doing through them are authorisedxc2xb7 Assisting dog owners, groups with suitcases, pushchairs and other large items, through the speed lanes.xc2xb7 Providing periodic patrols to main entrance walkway to ensure smokers, rough sleepers and other vagrants are moved away from the buildingxc2xb7 Break relief for other members of the reception teamxc2xb7 Assist the clients Customer Experience Team with events in the reception area, including set up, during the event and dismantlexc2xb7 In the event of a fire alarm activation, assist by controlling the main entrance area, ensuring that no one enters the building and assisting with people exiting the buildingPerson Specification

• Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, selfxe2x80x93motivated team player
• Holds a true passion for high standards of customer service delivery
• A keen interest and high level of IT/computer skills would be an advantage
• Ability to provide 6-star guest experience
• Previous experience in hospitality or a customer service facing role
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
• High standard of presentation
• Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as required
• Look for opportunities to enhance client/visitor experience
• Clear, concise and confident communication skills which are customer service orientated with a very keen eye for detail
• Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
• Computer literate with good email etiquette. Use of concierge and Microsoft systems is an advantage.
• 5 years of verifiable work history
• Supporting and delivering Customer focused pop-ups
• Current SIA License
• Able to be vetted back 5 years or since leaving compulsory education.
