We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, staff, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to while providing excellent customer service. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in monitoring premises, preventing loss, and responding to incidents as they arise.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks. Provide a welcoming and assuring presence Deter unwanted conduct including ASB Work with British Transport Police Prepare logs of incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of the role.

1700-2300 Fridays, and 1800-0000 Saturdays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00 per hour
