About the Role
This is a key safeguarding-focused role where you will help maintain a safe and supportive environment for young residents.
Key Responsibilities
Safeguarding and ensuring the safety, security, and wellbeing of minors on-site Monitoring access control Conducting regular patrols Working collaboratively with centre staff and external professionals such as Social Services and Councillors Providing emergency response including fire marshalling, evacuation coordination, and liaising with emergency services Managing and resolving conflict appropriately Completing accurate reports and incident logs
Requirements
Essential:
Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence Strong verbal and written communication skills Confidence in conflict resolution Excellent customer service skills
Desirable:
Enhanced DBS (can be arranged and funded upon offer) Knowledge of safeguarding children (training provided)
