About the role

We're looking for a proactive and experienced

Security Operations Manager

to take the lead on all aspects of physical security across a major programme of works. This is a critical role ensuring the safety, integrity, and smooth running of our project sites, including construction enclaves, site offices, and welfare facilities.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing physical security across multiple sites, including CCTV and specialist security measures. Managing access control systems, including MSite facial recognition technology. Leading, coordinating, and supervising security officers and contracted teams. Responding to and managing incidents, investigations, and reporting. Carrying out regular security risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures. Working with logistics and programme leads to embed security into wider project operations. Delivering daily inductions, security briefings, and driving a strong security culture. Ensuring compliance with all legal, contractual, and regulatory standards.

Who we're looking for

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience managing physical security within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Background in military, law enforcement, or private security (preferred). Good knowledge of access control systems, CCTV operations, and incident management. Experience delivering training and fostering security awareness across teams. Understanding of health and safety standards in a construction setting.
