MUST HAVE DRIVING LICENSE, 5 YEAR CHECKABLE WORK HISTORY AND VALID SIA LICENSE.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Patrol Officer to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and loss prevention, utilising various security measures including CCTV monitoring. The Patrol Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols and effective response to incidents.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activity or security breaches. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property. Provide first aid assistance in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents and observations. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences during shifts. Engage with staff and visitors to promote a safe environment and provide assistance as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in a security role or similar position is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with surveillance systems, particularly CCTV, is advantageous. Knowledge of loss prevention techniques will be beneficial in this role. Certification in first aid is highly desirable; training may be provided for the right candidate. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
