We're looking for a Security Training and Compliance Manager to join our Estates and Facilities team. This key role will support the delivery of safe, compliant, and professional physical security services across the University.
You'll deputise for the Senior Security Manager on occasions, lead on physical security compliance with legislation and university policy and implementation. You will manage governance and risk across the service, and play a critical part in training, emergency response planning, and operational readiness.
The above will be supported by effective policy and procedure document writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance withcurrent and futurelegislation (e.g. Martyn's Law, GDPR, Human Rights Actetc)
Lead on policy, governance, and training for physical security services
Support recruitment, performance management, and emergency response planningin all phases
Work closely with internal teams and external agencies to deliver best-practicefor physicalsecurity services
What we're looking for:
Professional security qualifications and proven experience in asimilarcompliance-focused role
Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and emergency response procedures
Excellent communication,training delivery in all forms,organisational, and leadership skills
Willingness to work flexibly andparticipatein on-call duties
Experience working in the HE Sector is desirable
