This is a full-time, permanent onsite role based at our Bradford, B12 site, offering 42.5 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate of 14.75. As Security Team Manager, you'll be the go-to expert for all things security -- the trusted advisor for both staff and leadership. With your keen eye for detail and strong leadership, you'll take charge of our on-site security officers, ensure rapid responses to any incidents, and drive the implementation of smart, effective security strategies.

What you will be doing as our Security Team Manager:



Take the lead on managing security staffing and rotas, ensuring full site coverage at all times. You'll act fast to cover absences and coordinate agency support when needed Keep performance on point by monitoring key metrics to drive improvements across individuals, the team, systems, and the site as a whole Play a hands-on role in supporting investigations -- from conducting staff interviews and reviewing CCTV to writing clear, accurate reports that get to the heart of the matter Oversee and enforce search procedures for staff and vehicles. You'll train the team, ensure full compliance with company policy, and confidently challenge any non-compliance or operational gaps Be a key voice on site -- engage regularly with local operations and stakeholders, leading meetings with the site team to stay up to speed on developments and operational changes

What we need from our Security Team Manager:



Proven experience in a security role -- you know the industry and what it takes to keep people and property safe Strong leadership skills, with previous experience supervising and motivating a team within a security environment Proactive and adaptable -- you stay calm under pressure, respond swiftly to changing priorities, and always stay one step ahead Solid understanding of health & safety principles and how to apply them in a fast-paced workplace A true team player and collaborator, able to work cross-functionally and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Hold a valid SIA Licence (DS/SG)?
