Hotel Indigo Gloucester is looking for a Security Team Member to join our growing team and bring the Hotel Indigo values to life!



Hotel Indigo Gloucester is set to open in 2026, offering a free-spirited experience for our guests enriched with local culture. Nestled in the heart of the neighbourhood and built on the site of the White Priory, we embrace the concept of storytelling-by-design. Artefacts rescued from the site are now showcased in the Gloucester Museum, linking our hotel to this city's multi-layered history. As Gloucester thrives with its diverse industries and culture, Hotel Indigo will become a vibrant part of the city's evolving narrative.

As a Security Team Member (Full-Time), you can expect to carry out the following duties...



Working behind the scenes and on the front line to ensure our Hotel is a safe and secure environment for our guests and colleagues (carrying out regular patrols, monitoring CCTV, managing access control, and responding to incidents when they arise)

- previous experience working as a Security Officer within a Hotel, Leisure or Customer-Facing environment is preferred!

Ensuring the Hotel remains fully compliant with all Health & Safety and Security regulations (keeping up to date with any changes to legislation)

- holding a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Security Industry Authority) is essential for this role, as is a strong understanding of safety and emergency procedures.

You will be a confident communicator and calm under pressure

- liaising regularly with guests, colleagues, and emergency services, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

Shifts will include late nights, weekends, and a variety of hours, so flexibility is key!
