We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives, including digital marketing campaigns, content creation, and performance analysis. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within the marketing field. You know marketing is the start and end of everything, from trade events for prospective retailers to in-store displays, the customer is the centre of it all. JOB PURPOSE

: Assist in implementing Seiko UK's marketing plans across own brand channels and with retail partners, maximising brand presence, perception and sales, measured by: -

Delivery of marketing plans through assistance with displays, graphics, digital assets, advertising and organic communications Implementation quality - with speed, accuracy, and attention to deadlines

Impactful co-ordination of results for campaigns (engagement, sales), events (attendance, enquiries, new accounts) and positive feedback (retailers, customers) MAIN TASKS: Marketing Co-ordination:

Production of materials: POS, imagery, content, presentations, reports, and brand collateral via agency liaison for photoshoots, copywriting, image resizing Logistics arrangements: transportation of marketing collateral and customer send-outs Marketing spend: purchase orders, budget trackers, and invoice documentation Brand event assistance - help at trade shows and promotional activities Digital & Social Media implementation: Organic and Paid-for Social Media & eNewsletters - driving engagement and followers Update website content with imagery, copy or web banners, ensuring consistency on own websites and retailers' online stores - analysing web traffic, recommending improvements Assist with Advertising delivery and performance tracking Collate data on campaign effectiveness - impressions, click-through rates, open rates, and sales through own brand and retailer channels Retailer Marketing implementation with stockists: In store POS and Display briefing, design, ordering and timeline management Retailer co-op advertising, content selection and campaign reporting Maintaining Retailer content databases: eg. 'Image Relay' system Creation of Retailer collateral eg. Clocks catalogue, Store briefing packs General Marketing Team Support:

Assist with projects, presentations, and ad hoc requests.

Internal communications send outs - Status updates, Friday Marketing briefings

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE



Comfortable working in fast-moving environment, good under pressure! Enthusiastic, willing to learn and a fun team player who wants to be involved and take responsibility Customer and brand-focussed with a good understanding of in-store and online retail Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude

Effective consultative approach when dealing with Retailers, Stores, Agencies, Customers and stakeholders

Agile in seeking project progression, managing communications upwards and sideways! Organised and results-driven, able to deliver to agreed timescales and multitask Thorough yet creative approach, within a framework of cost effectiveness Ideally university degree/equivalent level educated, preferably Marketing or Business related Commercially aware with marketing experience/knowledge through different communications channels from digital to in-store Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook a must, with sound numerical and analytical abilities - raising POs, managing spend logs and collating data results
