Big Creative Independent School

is BCT's


single-form alternate provision for 14-16-year-



olds who have disengaged with formal


education. BCIS cover Maths, English,


Science, Music and Media.


Creative Works

is BCT's co-working space in


E17's Creative Enterprise Zone, for creatives and


SMEs. Beyond providing offices, meeting rooms


and studios, CW host an events programme and


offer members the opportunity to collaborate with


locals through BCT's apprenticeship scheme.

? Deliver high-quality, differentiated sessions from the

Promote and safeguard the safety and wellbeing of all learners

Stay informed on emerging trends and government guidance, research, and issues

affecting


young people (e.g. mental health, identity, digital wellbeing), and ensure delivery is updated to reflect


these developments.

Engage external specialists or organisations

when necessary, to enrich the programme and


provide learners with the best available support and expertise.

Develop and adapt learning materials

in line with the Eunoia Learning Curriculum, ensuring


continued relevance and accessibility for a wide range of learners.

Collaborate across departments

Maths leads, to embed self-development principles across the wider learner experience.

Support and participate in student-led events

, such as Student Ambassador elections, charity


campaigns, and other enrichment initiatives

Identify and action appropriate referrals

to internal and external support services based on learner


needs and concerns raised during sessions.

Provide regular feedback

on programme impact during line management meetings, contributing to


the ongoing improvement of the SDP offer.



? Take part in continuous professional development (CPD), including working closely with the

Head of



Learning, Teaching and Assessment and Founder of Eunoia Learning

to strengthen practice


and remain at the forefront of youth development education.


Essential Qualities





? A keen interest and

intermediate knowledge in PSHE and youth development

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage young people


meaningfully.



? Proven ability to deliver engaging sessions that are inclusive and differentiated.



? Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all learners.



? Awareness of current youth issues, including mental health, identity, relationships, and digital


wellbeing.


Essential Qualifications





? Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2) and 3 other subjects
