Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. Your expertise in animal care and customer service will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Duties

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to breed standards and client preferences. Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues that may require veterinary attention. Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and grooming options. Handle pets safely and compassionately, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process. Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly with larger breeds or when moving equipment. Keep accurate records of services provided and any special instructions from pet owners.

Qualifications

Previous experience in pet grooming or a related field is preferred but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of animal care practices and behaviour. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required in the grooming process. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: 28,600.00-45,544.12 per year

Expected hours: 10 - 50 per week
