We are seeking an experienced self employed barber to join the team at Austin & Co. We are expanding our team and looking for someone who is passionate about their craft and committed to delivering an outstanding experience to every client.

Duties

Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts, styling, and grooming treatments tailored to individual client preferences Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalised advice Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barbering station in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques Manage appointment schedules efficiently to minimise wait times and optimise client flow Uphold professional appearance and behaviour at all times, representing the brand positively

Qualifications

Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of work preferred Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with clients Customer service skills that emphasise attentiveness, friendliness, and professionalism Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques Ability to work well under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail Organised with good time management skills to handle multiple appointments effectively A recognised qualification or certification in barbering
