We are seeking a professional and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness space. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage treatments or a beautician to enhance clients' physical and mental well-being. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your skills in a relaxing environment, helping clients relieve stress, alleviate pain, and improve overall health. A strong understanding of anatomy is essential to deliver safe and effective therapy. The position is self-employed renting a space and suitable for individuals committed to promoting health and relaxation.
Duties
Conduct personalised massage sessions tailored to each client's needs, including techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage or beautician work.
Assess clients' physical condition and discuss their health concerns to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace, ensuring all equipment and linens are properly sanitised after each session.
Keep detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time.
Provide advice on post-treatment care and recommend exercises or stretches if necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times during therapy sessions.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times.
Skills
Proven experience as a Massage Therapist / Beautician .
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to deliver safe, effective treatments.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to create a calming environment for clients.
Good organisational skills for managing appointments and maintaining client records.
Ability to listen attentively and adapt treatments based on individual client needs.
