We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caterer to join our team, providing exceptional food and beverage services for a variety of day time only events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary skills while delivering memorable experiences to clients in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Prepare and serve a diverse range of menu items tailored to event specifications, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste Set up catering areas, including tables, buffet stations, and serving stations, maintaining cleanliness and organization Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to meet safety standards and client expectations Provide excellent guest services by attending to guests' needs promptly and professionally Manage bussing duties by clearing plates, cleaning tables, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the event space Coordinate with event staff to ensure timely delivery of food service and adherence to event schedules Uphold food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times Assist with equipment setup, breakdown, and transportation of food supplies as needed Engage in food preparation tasks under supervision, including portioning, garnishing, and assembling dishes

Qualifications

Prior experience in the food industry, catering, or hospitality is highly preferred Culinary experience Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, and general food service operations Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous Flexibility to work during events that may occur during evenings or weekends as needed

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
