The Nurture Garden Ltd is a leading provider of counselling services across Lincolnshire schools, academies and training centres.
We are looking for qualified counsellors with working knowledge of CBT to undertake effective short term work with children aged 4 -18 years. The role is primarily to provide one to one counselling to pupils in primary and secondary schools. As one of our counsellors, you will be expected to liaise with the pastoral team, including Heads of Years and to work in consultation with the school's child protection policies.
The successful candidates will be required to start in January 2026 and undertake 5 counselling sessions a day, once/twice a week. The contracts are from January 2026 to July 2026 during the school term.
To be eligible for the position you will be required to:
Have successfully completed a counselling/therapy training to Diploma level
Be a registered member of a UK professional body
Have a minimum of 250 hours of supervised therapeutic practice with at least 50% children and young people
Have working knowledge of CBT and to have the ability to work creatively with art
Have your own insurance in place
Full UK Drivers licence essential

Pay: From 130.00 per day
Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
