Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes. Load and unload packages, including heavy lifting as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition. Assist in warehouse duties when necessary, including sorting and organising packages for dispatch.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of logistics operations.
