Overview

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Duties

Collect and deliver parcels and documents according to specified schedules. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and timestamps. Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery status and any potential delays. Handle packages with care, ensuring that items are not damaged during transit. Assist in loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient dispatch of goods.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. A valid driving licence is essential; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
