Overview
We are seeking a skilled Self-Employed Gas Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in gas installation and maintenance, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, practical skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair gas appliances and systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics of gas systems to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports and compliance documentation. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their gas systems and any required work.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Gas Engineer or in a similar role within the gas industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various gas-related issues. A valid commercial driving licence is preferred for transportation between job sites. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
