Job Overview


We are looking to recruit an Experienced Builder to join our expanding team, we are a Nationwide Company which will include some travel however main areas of works are in West Drayton and Reading area

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, applying a range of specialised skills to deliver high-quality results. The ideal applicant will possess a strong background in multiple trades and be committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties



Assist in the construction, repair, and renovation of residential, commercial, or industrial structures. Use hand tools and power tools to carry out carpentry, roofing, masonry, and other building tasks. Perform construction painting and surface finishing as required. Install plumbing systems and fixtures following technical specifications. Carry out electrical work including wiring and fitting electrical components (where qualified). Fabricate and assemble structural components on-site using welding and fabrication techniques. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes. Maintain a clean and organised work area, disposing of waste materials responsibly.

Qualifications



Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication is desirable. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Valid relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are advantageous. Commitment to health & safety practices on site. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 60 per week

Work Location: On the road
