We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

Construct, repair, and maintain structures using recognised building techniques and materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and finishing work Carry out roofing installations, repairs, and inspections to ensure durability and weather resistance Apply construction painting techniques for interior and exterior surfaces Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications Execute masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing Conduct welding operations for structural or decorative purposes as required Perform electrical work in compliance with safety regulations and technical standards Fabricate custom components or structures as needed for specific projects Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, electrical work or related trades Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments Strong understanding of construction processes and safety procedures Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights Good communication skills for effective teamwork on-site Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and schedules
