We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service while showcasing their creativity and expertise in hair styling. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, offering professional advice, and delivering high-quality hair services. The Hair Stylist will also play a key role in maintaining a welcoming salon environment and may assist with front desk operations.

Responsibilities

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling according to client preferences. Engage with clients to understand their desired outcomes and provide professional recommendations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. Upsell additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client experience. Mentor junior stylists or apprentices, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and techniques to provide clients with contemporary options. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon.

Experience

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in barbering is an advantage but not essential. Familiarity with store management practices is beneficial for those interested in taking on additional responsibilities. A passion for mentoring others and sharing expertise within the team is highly valued. Skills in upselling services will be advantageous for enhancing client satisfaction.
