We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills and experience in maintenance, repair, and customer service. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
Duties
Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Interpret and work from schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Operate programmable logic controllers for automation tasks.
Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or installations.
Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients to understand their needs and address any concerns.
Supervise and lead small teams on specific projects or repairs, ensuring quality workmanship.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Experience
Proven experience in maintenance or maintenance person roles with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge.
Familiarity with electrical systems and the ability to perform basic electrical repairs.
Previous supervisory experience is advantageous, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
