Self Employed Home Based Bookkeeper / Accountant - Flexible Hours

Delve Accounting Ltd - A niche accounting firm, servicing a range of clients in various sectors, currently expanding a network of self employed accountants to support growth.

The work is home based and hours flexible (in conjunction with client delivery timeframes) with the scope to take on as many or few clients as you wish.

Working from cloud based data, using a variety of different accounting software - Xero, Brightpearl (specialist e-commerce software), Hubdoc, TaxCalc, Quickbooks etc

We offer a set fee / time budget per client. Carefully modelled against the complexity of the work to be undertaken and based on time spent on previous years, paid at a competitive hourly rate.

Please do not apply for this position if you do not have full experience in the preparation of annual accounts to final version, preparation of tax computations and personal tax returns.

Work involves (dependent on level of experience):

Compiling of working papers for both individuals, sole traders, Limited Companies etc Preparation of Self Assessment Tax Returns to cover various revenue streams Preparation of Annual Accounts, Tax Computation and CT600 Preparation of Year End Accounts.

We Require:

Min 3 Years solid experience, ideally self employed or in practice Bookkeeping / Accounting qualification (preferred) Proficient in Xero / cloud accounting packages PI Insurance (cover of up to 250k) Anti Money Laundering cover (either through HMRC or a relevant trade body) Adaptable and proactive Self Starter - Ability to work to deadlines / prioritise workload Positive and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent communication / people skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: 16.00 per hour
