Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, To work on shop fitting contracts, all over the UK, The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, excellent communication skills, and a strong attention to detail. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, delivering high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements Manage tools and materials efficiently, maintaining a clean and organised workspace Assist in the planning and execution of decorating projects from start to finish Conduct touch-ups and repairs as needed to achieve a flawless finish

Requirements

Proven experience in construction painting or related decorating roles Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to interpret technical instructions and specifications accurately Valid driving licence is advantageous for site travel purposes Excellent colour perception and attention to detail Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to painting and decorating tasks
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 4 weeks

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
