Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our friendly team. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality finishes and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paints, varnishes, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled work. Keep work areas clean and organised throughout the duration of projects.
Qualifications
Proven experience in painting and decorating is essential. Strong communication skills. Ability to drive and hold a valid driving license is preferred for travel between job sites. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous.
