Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate must be Wirral based, punctual, have their own transport (with full set of tools), must also be reliable with 20+ years experience. Should the candidate endure a successful period, a full time job would also be considered. Starting date is for 23/02/2026. Please do not apply if you don`t meet this criteria.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them using sandpaper and scraping tools
- Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Measure and cut wallpaper or fabric to fit walls and ceilings
- Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material such as plaster
- Advise clients on colour selection and finishes
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, and have an all round good work ethic & integrity.

Qualifications

- Proficient in English to effectively communicate with team members and clients
- Ability to drive to various job locations
- Experience in painting and decorating techniques
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and team members efficiently
