Self-Employed Plant Fitter / Service Engineer
Based in EssexGood rate of pay | Regular ongoing work
Own tools + vehicle required
We're looking for experienced self-employed Plant Fitter / Service Engineer to carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on a variety of plant and construction machinery -- including excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, and small tools.What You'll Do
- Service and maintain plant equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic & electrical faults
- Attend site breakdowns when needed
- Keep paperwork and reports up to date
- What You'll Need
- Proven experience with heavy plant / construction machinery
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plant or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong mechanical & hydraulic knowledge
- Own tools, equipment and vehicle
- Public Liability Insurance
- Full UK driving licence
