Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver with a Luton Van to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of vehicle operation, and a commitment to safety. On a typical day, you will be paired with one of our trained porters to assist with house moves. Please note that all van-related costs--such as fuel, insurance, and maintenance--are your responsibility. However, we will provide you with a fuel card that allows you to purchase fuel at discounted rates.

Responsibilities

Drive a Luton Van to deliver goods to various locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of products, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.

Experience

Previous experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is preferred. A valid driving license with the correct insurance is required. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members.
