We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties. Your expertise in using hand tools and power tools, along with your knowledge of schematics and masonry, will be essential in ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install roofing materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal sheets according to specifications. Repair and replace damaged roofs, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing. Conduct inspections to assess roof conditions and identify necessary repairs or maintenance. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure structural integrity. Follow safety protocols while working at heights and using heavy lifting equipment. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, performing basic repairs as needed. Interpret schematics and building plans to execute roofing projects accurately.

Experience

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred. Familiarity with various roofing materials and techniques is essential. Experience with carpentry, plumbing, masonry, or welding is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work long hours on-site.
