Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering vehicles efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. This role requires excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to navigate various routes. The Driver will play a vital part in maintaining the company's reputation for punctuality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including lorries with flatbeds, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secure during transit and undamaged upon delivery. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic checks to ensure optimal functioning of the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.

Experience

Familiarity with driving different types of vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting issues on the road. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients. Previous experience in driving vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
