Responsibilities

Safely operate customers vehicles, until delivery providing a detailed handover on safety features and operational features. Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Adhere strictly to all road safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver or warehouse driver. Valid UK driver's licence with a clean driving record preferably with a maximum of 6 points. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on the road. Physical fitness to load, unload, and handle cargo safely.
