Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring or teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. This role is essential in providing personalised support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals and build confidence in their abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning outcomes. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of varying ages. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information and engage students. Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is highly desirable. A patient and adaptable approach to teaching that accommodates different learning paces and styles. A genuine passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 32.50-38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 8 per week
